Job Overview:
As a part of the Purchasing team for Southeast-Asia, you will support the sub-regional in non-production material purchasing on sourcing projects, cost saving initiatives, contract negotiations and implementation of new procurement tools.
Potential Projects:
1. Roll-out of global procurement tool Coupa in sub-region Southeast Asia
- Process alignment with internal stakeholders, especially Corporate Purchasing in Germany, NPM Purchasing in AP and SEA
- Preparation of presentation materials and training sessions
- Support on external communication with suppliers
- Support on weekly / monthly reporting of Purchasing KPI's
2. Sub regional Sourcing project for packaging material and / or warehouse service provider
- Preparation of RFQ documents and internal alignment on requirements
- Responsible for Coupa Sourcing
- Responsible for external communication with suppliers
- Support on supplier awarding strategy
- Preparation of e-auction
- Contract negotiation
- Internal alignment with Logistics, Quality Engineer, Legal and Purchasing
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Student of business administration / economics discipline
- Minimum commitment of 5 months from Jan 2023
- Interest in bringing value to international company by driving cost saving initiatives and negotiation with suppliers
- Optional: Experience in handling purchasing related activities
- Good communication in English
- Good team player who has the initiatives and able work with peers in intercultural environment
- Willing to handle reporting and data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
