Job Description

Job Overview:

There has been a growing interest and number of new projects for factory automation with robotic arms or collaborative robots as part of factory digitalization for Industry 4.0. Safety is one of the biggest concerns in human-robot interaction tasks. Various aspects contribute to the difficulty in designing a safety algorithm. The objective of this project is to create a cage-free safety monitoring solution that provide smart robot behavior control and sensing-driven solutions to ensure human safety when working around robots. You will be part of the effort in designing, building and testing the mentioned safety monitoring prototype, getting it ready for internal demonstrations.


  • Work with robotics arm and vision sensors and play a key role in building the next generation safety monitoring system.
  • Develop/integrate software algorithms to process the data from vision sensors and control the robotics arm.
  • Build and test the smart safety monitoring system prototype.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge in functionality of robotics arm and controls.
  • Knowledge in computer vision, object detection.
  • Knowledge in software programming (e.g. ROS, python, C++ ).
  • Hands on attitude.
  • Self-driven and Willingness to learn new things.
