The Regional Land Transport Department is responsible for the management and growth of Schenker’s land transportation business in Asia Pacific. As part of our growth initiatives, we are implementing a new TMS (Transportation Management System) across Asia Pacific. In addition, we want to develop a network of integrated subsystems around our TMS to further enhance our systems capability to compete in an ever-increasing digitized landscape.
As part of the team, you will be reporting to Senior Managers and Director. You will be involved in our TMS implementation and add value to a multi-million dollar project. Activities include requirements gathering, systems solutioning and configuration, analysis and process improvements and implementing new processes and tools to streamline our implementations.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Gather and analyse business requirements
- Collect and analysis of master data
- Systems solutioning and configuration
- Create implementation toolkits (eg Excel macros, robotic process automation) to streamline the implementation process
- Prepare training materials
- Analyse the current implementation process and propose initiatives for improvements
- Research and propose solutions for the network of integrated subsystems
