Job Description

Field Apprentice Development Program (FADP)

A structured apprenticeship and mentorship opportunity where successful candidates will receive training and development opportunities. It provides apprentices with an opportunity to earn attractive remunerations and embark on a career progression path.

It combines employment and classroom-based vocational training. The course duration is 2 years where it allows an Apprentice to work full time with us and pursue part-time vocational training at the Institute of Technical Education.

Responsibilities

· Perform maintenance service of lifts/escalators in his charge.

· Apply correct work methods and procedures to ensure reliability and safe operations.

· Release of passenger from lift mantrap according to contract terms .

· Troubleshoot minor equipment faults and carry out preventive and/or corrective actions.

· Ensure all work processes comply with quality, environmental and safety procedures and requirements.

· Communicate with customers on any operational enquiries and/or feedback.

· Report to superior and team timely.

· Perform ad-hoc assignments such as technical support with another zone.

Eligibility Criteria

· Nitec, Higher Nitec and Diploma holders.

· Existing tradesmen with less than 3 years of trade specific experience in the build environmental sector are also eligible to apply.

· No colour blindness/color deficiency, (E.g. Electrician)

· Open to Singaporean or PR.

Benefits

· Apprentices will earn a minimum monthly salary plus an upgrading incentive for 1st and 2nd year.

· The training course fee will be sponsored by the employer.

· The apprentice will graduate with a Nitec in Technology – Facility Technology (Vertical Transportation)

· Apprentice will be awarded with an in-house technical certification from the company.
