ABOUT THE ROLES:

These roles are responsible for teaching of Robotics and Coding conducted at SOR as well as the the day to day running of the SOR centre to provide an excellent service and further develop relationships with local business and educational communities.

 

Additional Information:

  • Walking distance to Beauty World MRT station (Downtown Line) / Ang Mo Kio MRT Station (Red Line)
  • 5 days work week (2 days off)
  • Immediate vacancy

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Love children, able to work with kids
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • No prior experience required, training will be provided

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Adopt SOR’s pedagogy to deliver enriching and enjoyable lessons for groups of students
  • Facilitate an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment
  • Provide termly plan on trainer schedules
  • Providing prompt and insightful feedback to parents
  • Willing to work on weekends

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Patient and level-headed when working with children
  • Good team-player
  • [Not required] Experienced in coaching or has participated in robotics competition such as First LEGO League (FLL), National Robotics Competition (NRC), World Robotics Olympiad (WRO)
