Screed is an online lightings store based in Singapore specializing in designer, contemporary and industrial lightings, and are in the process of developing a blog which will contain interior design tips, lightings articles and other interesting content related to home design. We're looking for an Article Writer to generate high-quality written content for our website.
Job Description
Your responsibilities:
Write high quality and creative articles that are fresh, have a new perspective and can appeal to home enthusiasts. One area of focus will also be on industrial themed designs, which are well prevalent in many cafes across Singapore now, and popular with young home owners. Topics included are Interior Design Tips, Home improvement, Eco-Friendly and D-I-Y Ideas. You may also interview professionals and do book reviews & product advertorials. As part of the work you will also be responsible for doing online marketing and other relevant marketing work to drive traffic to the website. You will also be involved in generating and managing content for our social media accounts as part of marketing work.
Your qualifications:
-Singaporean/Singapore citizen
-Interest in home decor, home improvement, interior design
-Familiarity with blogging would be a plus
-Primary Skills: Journalism, Article writing
-Additional Skills: Web Content, Blogging, Photography (Bonus)
-Excellent writing, grammar, spelling and formatting (UK English)
-Strong communication skills
