About our group:
Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team has the mission to govern, manage and provide transparency of all Seagate's Assets through every stage of the Asset Management Lifecycle (Planning, Acquisition, Deployment, Operate & Maintain and Retirement).
About the role - you will:
- Formulate predictive analytics for HDD Operations Capital Spend relative to changes in demand forecasts
- Partner with business users to co-design impactful visual, interactive dashboards and reports with technologies such as Tableau, PowerBI or others .
- Perform analysis, formulate strategies and recommendations that drive a lower Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) per TB
About you:

- Up to date knowledge on latest Data analytics software and tools
- Possess a Can-do attitude, willing to learn and is perpetually curious
Your experience includes:
- Currently pursuing with a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics / Computer Science / Software Engineering
- Knowledge and proficiency in Data Science/Engineering with prior experience in related softwares and tools (KNIME, Alteryx, Python, Power Query,etc.). Candidates with prior predictive modeling will be preferred.
- Trained and had practical experience in data visualization softwares (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Highly proficient user of Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.) and self-driven learner
- Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
- Sensitive to data, possess a strong learning ability, strong logical and analytical capabilities, and project execution skills, and good communication skills with team members and key stakeholders
- Have prior experience or keen in leading data-driven projects from definition to execution: defining metrics, capturing boundary conditions, communicating actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and responsible
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong execution skills with attention to details.

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
