The University Talent Acquisition team plays a key role in attracting, engaging, and developing the next generation of talent. We focus on strengthening employer branding, university partnerships, and intern experience programs to create meaningful career opportunities for students. By collaborating with hiring teams and universities, we enhance the early careers hiring strategy while driving process improvements that support a seamless intern lifecycle.
About the role – you will:
As a University Relations intern, have the opportunity to gain real-world experience in talent acquisition and early careers programs you will gain hands-on experience in:
Supporting end-to-end intern lifecycle processes, from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and conversion.
Enhancing employer branding efforts by contributing to content creation, social media engagement, and outreach strategies.
Assisting in the planning and execution of university engagement initiatives, including career fairs, industry talks, and networking events.
Driving intern engagement by improving existing programs and organizing meaningful events.
Refining job descriptions to improve clarity, consistency, and appeal for early careers talent.
Enhancing hiring manager resources and developing an onboarding kit to improve the intern experience.
About you:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks and projects.
Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Able to commit Semester Internship (May/July to Dec)
Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Interest in employer branding, recruitment, and talent program management.
Familiarity with social media, content creation, or event planning is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is beneficial.

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms. Our yoga and Zumba classes are very popular.
