Seagate is currently seeking a high potential intern with strong aptitude for recruitment and be prepared to develop a long-term career in Talent Acquisition. Through this internship, you will be exposed to numerous areas of recruitment, including talent sourcing, screen, market mapping and reporting. All in all, this is a great opportunity for individuals to gain real-world experience on how Talent Acquisition supports the organization and gain insights from working in a fast-paced, growing high-technology company. The role is a local role reports to Manager, Talent Acquisition based in Singapore.
About the role as a Talent Acquisition Intern - you will:
- Participate in the recruitment process including talent sourcing, screening, and market mapping
- Work closely with sourcing team to build the talent pipeline, which includes determining resource status and needs, coordinating talent sourcing activities, assessing, and managing referral processes
- Plays an active role in supporting the recruiting teams based in Singapore
- Supports the recruiting teams in other recruitment activities such as recruitment events/fairs, scheduling of interviews and pre-employment medical arrangements Ensure correct completion of all recruitment records and reporting, including accurate data entry in HR system
- Effectively utilize TA tools - applicant tracking system to manage recruitment process and track all recruitment-related activities data in a timely manner, as well as candidate relationship management system to maintain candidate pools and talent pipelines
- Participate in projects and programs as required and support continuous improvement efforts within Talent Acquisition function
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
About you:
- Currently pursuing or enrolled in an academic institution and interested in Talent Acquisition
- Self-starters who are results-oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and who take initiative
- Demonstrate a strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, showcase curiosity, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Good communications, organizational and planning skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple priorities
- Team player, collaborative approach and resourceful Ability to analyze data – process large set of data to consolidate for stakeholder updates
