Job Description

Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Brand Merchandising Executive to join our team.

This position reports to the Retail director and interfaces with Retail merchandising, Retail Operations Marketing and e-commerce teams.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the following:

1. Forecast and replenishment of inventory for all brands across all retail platforms

2. Forecast and planning of orders for new brands and collections

3. Reviewing pricing structure and margins, taking into account domestic pricing of competitor brands

4. Coordinating with marketing team to launch new brands and collections into the store and through our e-commerce channels

5. Identify slow-moving and overstock inventory and clearing off excess stock.

6. Reporting on brand and SKU performance, segregating across the various sales channels

7. Optimizing inventory allocation across the various retail and e-commerce business units.

 

Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:

1. Monthly sales orders by brands by business units, to be in charge of the forecasting and placing of orders in our ERP system.

2. Managing the pricing and sales pricing for all stocks for our retail and e-commerce business units

3. Monthly reporting and reviewing of brand and store performance

4. Monthly reporting to identify slow moving and excess inventory and proposing campaigns to clear off.

5. Monthly stock take reports for all stores to maintain accuracy of inventory in system

6. Proposing and planning orders for new brands and new season launches to retail director


Competencies:
1. Training in sales booking platform in our ERP system

2. Training in price book creation in our ERP system

3. Training in item creation in our ERP system

4. Training in excel for sales forecasting and planning and data analytics

5. Training in data analytics for slow moving and excess inventory

6. Understanding how to analyse product sell-through and life cycle

 

Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered: 6months

Approved Training Allowance:

Fresh Graduates -- $2500

Non Mature Mid Career Individuals -- $2730

Mature Mid Career Individuals -- $2730

Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role under SGUnited Traineeship
