Seek Sophie is a Singapore-based online travel platform for cool local experiences and nature getaways in Asia. About the role:
Do you love being on social media and sharing stories? Do you or your friends consider yourself to be a content creator? Do you document your life on Instagram stories, are always on TikTok and itching to use the next viral sound or dance that pops up on your fyp, or easily gets sucked into 20min long Vox YouTube videos? Are you also someone who doesn’t shy away at an opportunity to be on camera and be yourself? Hands up if we’ve accurately described you!
We’re looking for a highly enthusiastic creative who loves telling stories on social media and not only loves consuming content, but creating content as well. At Seek Sophie, telling good, fun, interesting and meaningful stories via awesome content creation is at the core and backbone of what we do.

What you’ll be doing:
- Work together with the team to conceptualise and develop creative content ideas for on Instagram and TikTok
- You’ll be given ownership of the entire creative process, from ideation and planning to execution and post-production
- Draw content inspiration from social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, etc.
- Possibility of going on shoots to take and film content!
- Use your creativity to create and edit fun and engaging photo and video content that matters
- Building and engaging with our community on Instagram and TikTok, which includes responding to comments, DMs, reaching out to new communities
- Putting content together for email newsletters
Requirements:
- Academic qualification in communications, journalism, media, advertising, marketing or relevant
- You live and breathe Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or other social media channels
- Keen interest and curiosity in social media trends, its ever-evolving landscape and what makes people tick
- Excellent photography and videography skills
- Comfortable with being on camera
- Experience in editing content using Adobe Lightroom CC, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Canva
- Excellent eye for design, attention to detail and desire for perfection
- Strong creativity, storytelling and copywriting skills
- Excellent command of English
- You are excited about experimenting with different story ideas and angles, testing the best way to execute content (copy, visuals, etc.), figuring out why they work or don’t work
- Loves interacting and building relationships with people both online and offline
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and enthusiasm to build a brand
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Ever-ready attitude and always ready to take on challenges
- Optimistic team player with a desire to make a positive impact in the world
