OVERVIEW
'-Assist in planning and scheduling of daily maintenance work orders
-Aid the maintenance technicians in routine equipment PM works
-Participate in equipment troubleshooting works together with maintenance technicians and engineers
-To develop hand-on skills on performing condition monitoring assessment of rotating equipment and control valves
-Make use of condition monitoring techniques to conduct a study on the health status of rotating equipment and control valves and produce a report on the findings
-Assist the team in the planning and execution of the shutdown maintenance works as well as the production of the shutdown report
-Partner with maintenance technicians to drive workshop improvement projects
-Aid the maintenance engineers in process improvement projects
-Familiarize with SAP processes and assist the maintenance engineers in collecting information for:
a.Management of maintenance work
b.Management of budget
c.Spares management
Thereafter, 2 projects will be done by the intern:
-Carry out a condition assessment report for rotating equipment (fans and pumps), based on the monthly vibration readings we are capturing on the portable analyser. And also cross-verify with the ABB wireless sensor reports to make sure that the ABB wireless condition monitoring system is picking up the same or similar findings
-Prepare a condition assessment report, from Etapro, on the deterioration of the control valves to prepare for C inspection overhaul.
Job Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering background or equivalent
