The Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Business helps corporates with their decarbonization needs by focusing on reducing their Scope 2 emissions through use of RECs. In this role, you will work closely with the commercial leads supporting them with the acquisition of RECs from market to add to GoNetZero’s portfolio. You will get to learn about the different types of renewable energy generation, the REC registries and their issuance process, how RECs can be used for reducing Scope 2 emissions, and much more.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research, identify and make contact with renewable energy asset owners (“Sellers”) in Singapore.
- Support the marketing of GoNetZero™ to the target Sellers.
- Support the commercial proposals, contracts preparation and negotiation, and onboarding of Sellers.
- Support the registration of Sellers’ assets with the registries and follow through the issuance process.
- Update the inventory system with respect to RECs in pipeline and issued.
- Provide support to Sellers throughout their journey with GoNetZero™.
Preferred Skills
- Undergraduate or MBA in Business
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills, attention to details;
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Able to commit to 6 months or more, starting in June/July 2024
