Sendjoy – Software Engineering Intern

The Opportunity

In the Software Engineer role, you’ll gain experience and have the opportunity to shape the technological trajectory of our business as an early member in a start-up. You’ll be working closely with our CTO.

We don’t see our interns any differently from one of us. If you’re up for it, lead teams, craft strategies or drive new initiatives – the sky’s the limit.

What You’ll Be Responsible for

• Work closely with our CTO to develop our cloud-based product.

• Design, develop and implement website and API

• Assist with the creation of the full system pipeline and architecture

• Learn best practices (TDD, PR, scrum)

Who We’re Looking For

• Students who are currently or were previously pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Experience in web and web application development

• Knowledgeable in documenting software code

• Good understanding of using version control (Git)

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Understanding of NOSQL databases such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch a bonus

Please note that only Singaporeans or PRs and students from local Polytechnics or Universities will be eligible for this position.

Contract Type and Location

You must be able to commit full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks, up to a maximum of 6 months. The role will be based in Singapore with a flexible start date.
