Sephora seeks to hire an E-Commerce Analyst Intern reporting to the Regional Senior eCommerce Manager. This is a key role within a lean and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the regional eCommerce performance analysis as well as forecasting which is critical to the planning of our commercial initiatives.
The Regional eCommerce team is an experienced team leading the most impactful commercial campaigns in the organization. This team represents a unique opportunity to develop your skill sets and experiences through deep analysis of consumers patterns and commercial campaigns performance over time.
The E-Commerce Analyst Intern will also work closely with the Centres of Excellence who provide strategic guidance and insight on ecommerce business opportunities. Successfully working together is a key to the regional team's success, and the right candidate will build strong partnerships. Through the review and critical assessment of commercial campaigns & business as usual performance, the E-Commerce Analyst Intern will continuously evaluate our strategy and commercial effectiveness and drive ongoing improvements to deliver business success.
A knowledge of beauty is an advantage but is not required - that is our expertise and we can teach you, but you should have an interest in this world and be excited to learn.
What you will do:
Performance Analysis
- Support the regional e-commerce team in understanding monthly, weekly and daily performance.
- Participate in commercial campaign reviews and produce ad-hoc campaign analysis
- Work with the wider team on understanding CRM trends and platform usage trends
Forecasting
- Build sound assumptions to forecast performance based on the campaign plan and historical data
- In-depth review of proposed commercial targets against on a monthly, weekly and daily basis
Share knowledge
- Create compelling dashboards to be shared across the wider teams
- Share your findings & methods to build analytical strength across the organisation
Required Skills:
- Analytical & mathematical Skills
- Proficient in EXCEL data treatment and MySQL queries creation
- Google Analytics / BigQuery experience
- Familiar with eCommerce KPIs (Traffic, CR%, AOV, Discount Rate, Bounce Rate, Churn)
- Experience at managing eCommerce commercial campaigns and digital marketing channels will be a plus
