As the first-stop and focal agency for disability in Singapore, SG Enable raises awareness on disability issues and facilitates access to disability schemes and services. It brings partners together to share knowledge, collaborate and innovate, striving towards a common goal of building an inclusive Singapore and enabling lives. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2013, it is a registered charity and an Institution of a public character.
About the Division
Service Administration (SA) division collaborates with various disability Social Service Agencies (SSAs), SPED Schools and other stakeholders to deliver quality services to persons with disabilities.
Project Description
Intern will be be part of the organising team for the Open House for adult disability services, e.g. Day Activity Centre (DAC) and Sheltered Workshop (SW). He/She will be given the opportunity to engage different service providers and learn about their disability programmes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Open House registrations by caregivers and SPED school staff
- Send reminders to registered participants to ensure minimal attrition
- Manage waitlists for in-person sessions
- Attend to email queries for the Open House sessions
- Collate and analyse feedback gathered from the sessions
- Any other duties / responsibilities assigned
Requirements
- Good organisational skills, analytical and meticulous
- Proactive, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player and also able to work independently
- Proficient in MS Office
