About SG Enable
As the first-stop and focal agency for disability in Singapore, SG Enable raises awareness on disability issues and facilitates access to disability schemes and services. It brings partners together to share knowledge, collaborate and innovate, striving towards a common goal of building an inclusive Singapore and enabling lives. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2013, it is a registered charity and an Institution of a public character.
About the Division
SG Enable's Service Development/Lifelong Learning Division aims to enhance the employment and employability of persons with disabilities. By collaborating with other divisions and stakeholders, we provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities tailored to individuals' needs, fostering personal growth and professional development. The division also focuses on upskilling the network of support, including employers and caregivers, to strengthen support systems for individuals with disabilities. Furthermore, we work to promote accessibility and inclusion among training providers, ensuring equal access to education and training opportunities for all. Through these efforts, SD/LL strives to create a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can thrive.

- Lifelong Learning Strategy: Support the Disability Employment and Lifelong Learning Manpower Study and Lifelong Learning Strategy Formulation
- Skills Framework Adoption: Support the adoption of Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework
Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas
1. Lifelong Learning Strategy: Support the Disability Employment and Lifelong Learning Manpower study that would provide data and insights on the demand and supply of lifelong learning programmes for persons with disabilities and their network of support, as well as the formulation of Lifelong Learning Strategy based on the study insights to develop implementation plans and associated resources to achieve the intended goals as follows:
a) Enhanced systems to support effective skills development and lifelong learning; and
b) Innovative and flexible learning programmes catered to the needs of PWDs & their network of support.
2. Skills Framework Adoption: Support in the adoption strategies for the Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework which involves working with internal and external stakeholders (eg training providers, social service agencies).
Requirements
- Interest in research and/or training and development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion in enabling persons with disabilities and their network of support will be an added advantage.
