About Community Development

As part of the Communications and Partnerships Division, the Community Development is responsible for the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund (GCTEF) and its key initiative- the annual Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards (GCTEA), GCTEF aims to provide persons with disabilities the opportunities to actively contribute to society and lead socially integrated lives. The Fund supports persons with disabilities through 3As: providing financial Aid, supporting Aspirations and conferring Awards, (GCTEA) to recognise the achievements and potential of persons with disabilities.

Job Description

Project description

The intern will assist and support the team in fund administration, donor engagement and event management / publicity.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas

Fund Administration:

  • Support pre-evaluation of GCTEF applications
  • Manage GCTEF mailboxes

Donor Engagement:

  • Creation of GCTEF beneficiary stories via Canva and sending regular updates to donors
  • Data entry for responses from mailings and inquiries
  • Updating donor details into system
  • Mail merge and data management
  • Support ad-hoc projects (such as Annual Report) as needed

Events Management:

Participate and support events when required e.g. GCTEF fundraising events, GCT Enable Awards Ceremony

 

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and preferably Canva for design
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Flexible and ready to assist when the need arises
