About the Division 

SG Enable's Service Development/Lifelong Learning Division aims to enhance the employment and employability of persons with disabilities. By collaborating with other divisions and stakeholders, we provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities tailored to individuals' needs, fostering personal growth and professional development. The division also focuses on upskilling the network of support, including employers and caregivers, to strengthen support systems for individuals with disabilities. Furthermore, we work to promote accessibility and inclusion among training providers, ensuring equal access to education and training opportunities for all. Support the roll-out of the Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework (ESCF)

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities / Work Areas 

Target: Support in curation and achieving earned media attention on the Human Interest Stories for Early Adoption of the Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework

1. Understanding Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework: Dive deep into the Enabling Skills and Competencies Framework for persons with disabilities over 18 years old and their network of support. Gain comprehensive knowledge and insight into the framework's principles, objectives, and practical applications.

 

2. Raise Awareness of the Framework: Support in:

a. Liaison with the framework early adopters and/or appointed story writer to curate stories;

b. Collaboration with the corporate communications team for earned media attention to show the impact of SG Enable as a disability focal agency.

c. Coordination and assistance for related marketing and outreach efforts.

 

Requirements 

- Training in Communications is preferred.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated passion in enabling persons with disabilities with be an added advantage.
