The Business Development Intern Role:

Be part of our next big thing! Are you a student interested in gaining real-world exposure in digital marketing planning and strategising? We're an established automotive media company looking for creative and knowledgeable Marketing students who can bring fresh and creative ideas to the table.

As a Business Development Intern, you will be supporting the Business Development team in planning, running, and optimising innovative digital media buys across our websites, Social Media platforms, and Google, as well as planning out customer journey maps in meeting various financial service needs (Car Insurance, Credit Card, and more).

If you are a student passionate about working in the media industry, or if you wish to gain deeper insights into working in the local automotive scene, you might just be what we’re looking for!

Daily life as an intern at sgCarMart:

· Understand the nature and requirements of our business

· Build, manage, and support customer-facing marketing plans

· Set up Facebook and Google advertising buys, based on specific business objectives

· Plan out effective customer journey maps and plan media targeting and budget based on it

· Create marketing reports using web analytics tools to provide insights and measure the effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns

· Improve and optimise our digital marketing efforts by analyzing our marketing analytics

· Maintain partnerships with media agencies and key market players in the local automotive scene

Requirements:

· Current Polytechnic or University student majoring in Marketing / Communications / Business or relevant field

· Brief understanding of digital marketing tools – eg Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook Ads

· Good command of English

· Able to marry creative ideas whilst taking into consideration customers' requirements

· Basic Canva / Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator knowledge (Good to have but not compulsory)

· Passionate about social media and trends

· Strong interest in cars, leisure, and lifestyle content will be advantageous

Soft Skills:

· Analytical and Logical Thinking Skills: Good problem solver

· Detail-oriented and meticulous approach to work

Internship Allowance:

· $800 to $1,000 Per Month
