Job Description

To understand and assist with the recruitment process

• Managing job Portal, shortlisting and reviewing candidates

• Arranging for various interview between candidate and interviewer

• Assist in verifying and collection of documents from candidate

• Assist in various pre-onboarding issues such as LOA Signing

• Partake in Recruitment Drives / Career Fair

 

To understand and assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes:

• Assist in preparation of the New Hire’s starter kit

• Registration of the New Hire’s profile

• Facilitate tour around the hotel with the New Hires

• Assist in New Hire Orientation

• Arranging and facilitating clearance with Leavers

 

Effective administrative skills

• To understand and manage in Human Resources filing and documentation such as the creation and maintenance of staff’s P-File.

• To plan and organise a systematic approach of record keeping of employee data

• To upkeep personal data in a safe and secure environment

 

Payroll Process

To understand and manage the payroll procedure and system by monitoring the following

• Rostering

• Overtime reporting

• Allowances

• New Hire and Leaver’s data

• Time and attendance tracking

• Invoicing tracing

• Liaising with vendor / employment agencies

 

To understand and assist with the various employee engagement events:

• CEO Townhall

• General Manager Roundtable

• Virtual Talks (Welfare/ Finance/ Mental Wellness

• Creative events – Sports and Recreations activities.

 

To understand and facilitate various compensation and benefits processes:

• Medical claims

• Mid-night transportations

• Allowances

• Reimbursement (Dental / Locker/ Nametag)

• Sentosa Islander Pass

 

To understand and assist with the various employee relations events and Heart of the House Facilities such as but not limited to:

• Annual Dinner and Dance

• National Award coordination

• Long Service Award

• Corporate Social Responsibilities (E.g., Beach Clean-up, Home Visitation, Nature Care)

• Maintaining the heart of the house – updating notices, meals enhancement, staff lounge.

 

Learning and Development

• Relationship with external training provider – sourcing for training program, registration and follow up

• Managing Personal Development Fund

• Tracking internal learning courses via own development training Aps.

• Monitoring and tracking training activities

• Coordination with other institution for interns’ recruitment and act as a liaison between interns and Head of Department for effective supervisory roles.

• To facilitates the visitation of career fair to school / local hospitality institution
