Shaw Theatres, part of the Shaw Organisation, was founded by the Shaw Brothers and has been operating cinemas in Singapore since 1927. With Shaw Theatres Jewel, it now owns eight cineplexes across the island.
Shaw is also the distributor of worldwide independent films in Singapore and also the largest distributor of Chinese films and the representative of Hong Kong film giant Media Asia. At any one time, audiences at Shaw Theatres can enjoy independent films of any language, of all genres. With cinemas located all over the Singapore island, Shaw showcases many of the Hollywood blockbusters and also the Asian and local movies.
We are looking for a creative and innovative individual to join our team. As an intern/temp, you will assist to design online creative assets and updating of weekly movie content.
The Role:
- Maintain and update online film contents such as movie keyarts and film info.
- Work on online communications for contest and promotion giveaway.
- Design online media and creative assets such as animated banners, ecards.
- Scheduling of weekly movie content.
- Scheduling of Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.
- Administration of all artworks & designs produced including archiving and packing of prizes and goodie bags.
- To perform other related duties as required to support users and business.
Requirements:
- Commitment period of minimum 5 months starting from September 2019.
- Preferred Diploma in Visual Communication/Graphic Design or its equivalent.
- Good conceptualization skills, creative with good sense of design & colors.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite like Adobe Photoshop. Good in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Dreamweaver
(Motion graphics/animations and Web capabilities an advantage). - Fast learner and able to multi-task and work efficiently with careful attention to details.
- The ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude, pro-active, flexible and organized.
- Good sense of urgency & responsibility to execute work and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
