This role focuses on the ShopBack Mart business portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop business hypotheses collaboratively with commercial team (business development, account management, marketing) with expertise in analytics methodology
- Apply quantitative techniques to mine massive amounts of data and extract impactful insights that influence the strategy for CPG or Retail industry
- Use data and qualitative insights to provide impactful business recommendations
- Manage self-help dashboards where necessary (e.g. when data structure or business requirements change)
Requirements
- Able to commit full-time, for 6 months (preferably).
- Discipline in Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant field preferred
- Proficiency in reading Chinese language due to primary market served (Taiwan)
- Sufficient knowledge of SQL or other querying languages
- Strong business acumen, with ability to articulate analyses and translate to actionable business insights are preferred.
- Problem-solver - forward thinking and ability to solve problems independently
