Job Description
ShopBack engineers specialise in handling for high traffic web
environments. We are constantly looking for creative ideas to improve
user experience. Our engineers are driven to make a change. You live
and breathe our ambitious start-up culture.
You live on the front lines of our products and build features used by thousands of people every day. The work is fast paced and demanding. You have an unfaltering commitment to quality and efficient coding. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are your strong suit and you should possess a decent portfolio of web development.

You have an unfaltering commitment to quality and efficient coding. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are your strong suit and you should possess a decent portfolio of web development.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to implement front-end solutions
- Providing expertise to make our products easier to use and more desirable to the end user
- Develop robust high value and high traffic production applications
- Experience with web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience with the latest web standards (e.g. HTML5 and CSS3)
- Experience with web and mobile development, including responsive design, experience with content management systems
- Experience working in Unix environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Backbone, Angular or React) and CSS pre-processing framework (e.g. Sass or Less)
- Experience with a scripting language such as PHP, Ruby or Python.
- Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience
