As a Business Development Intern, you will get to experience a sales-oriented role, opportunities within a B2B SaaS IT company's sales on an end-to-end process flow involving and starting with business client lead generation, getting a good understanding about sales meetings and the necessary negotiations included in them. This end-to-end flow would encompass insight to running a business and maneuvering in a fast-moving competitive environment.
Overall, by the end of the internship, you will learn the revenue-generating aspects of a global B2B IT enterprise, and what it takes to start a sales conversation until realization of the revenue for a business.
Several of the learning opportunities within key duties include:
Learning methods to start a sales process by creating sales opportunities for the team via an omni-channel business development approach i.e events/web tools/email/calls/linkedin.
Applying your experience to enhance team processes by actively participating and brainstorming in internal discussions with the direct manager to explore new methods of generating sales opportunities for the team.
Experience a real business-to-business (B2B) sales conversation by joining, participating in, and observing global sales meetings with potential clients and Shufti Pro Sales executives/managers.
Learning the sales and negotiation processes to winning B2B deals by participating in a project-based discussion and liaising with multiple departments (including overseas) within the organisation to win sales opportunities.
