EDUCATION
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide full-support for the mobile back-end (ie. database design and RESTful API design)
Plan and implement security measures to protect data and mobile applications
Review and development of security framework, information security policies, processes / procedures, and guidelines
Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration tests
Follow Agile and Rapid Application Development best practices
Assume ownership of the code throughout development, staging, testing and production
If you are an intern/fresh graduate, your job would be more of supporting the team.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interest in software design, architecture and user experience, and a passion for new web technologies
Ability to translate technical jargon into meaningful concepts across functional groups
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, small team environment
Good problem-solving skills and a desire to overcome technical challenges and seek the most effective solution
At least 2 years of working experience but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with security and data protection
Good understanding of OWASP security principles
Strength in creating and calling RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Parse Cloud functions
GOOD TO HAVE 🙂
Knowledge of mobile application front end development (iOS and/or Android)
Experience with HTML, CSS & Bootstrap
Strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript libraries such as jQuery & D3.js, and frameworks like Express.js & AngularJS
Familiar with CMS like WordPress
Experience working with web services and APIs like Twitter, Facebook Graph, Instagram, Google Maps
Ability to write clean and well-structured code
Good experience with object-oriented programming
