We are looking for experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary
focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following wellknown
React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the
overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team
working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem
solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Work closely with Product and Design to create and execute a variety of online projects.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Ability to develop in an iterative/incremental fashion.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Monitor the performance of live applications and continuously improve the code quality and user experience
Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 including media queries and flexbox layout
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model following ES6 specifications
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
- If no direct experience with React.js, strong experiences with Angular 2 (or later), Vue or other modern JS frameworks will be considered
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, OAuth, etc
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Strong experience in handling media files (photo, video, 360/VR) and real time chat and voice communications
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Familiar with development practice using Scrum
- Strong experience in handling media files (photo, video, 360/VR) and real time chat and voice communications
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or software engineering
- Preferably with 3 years of working experience
- Have examples of implemented elegant user interfaces (preferably deployed live)
