The Accounting assistant supports the two departments to achieve organizational goals and that the compliance obligations are met. The ideal candidate possesses solid ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality, and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and strong work ethic in prior work experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain full set of accounts with oversight on all journal entries, revenue and expenses
- Liaise and communicate with accountant to ensure all documentations are in place and compliant
- Assist in achieving monthly revenue forecast
- Compare actual results vs budget/ forecast/ prior year, investigate significant variances and analyse results
- Generate invoices and quotations
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or Human Resource
- Good at English communication skills, both written and verbal (equivalent to IELTS 7.0)
- Proficiency in MS office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
- At least 1 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with using cloud based book keeping software e.g. Xero
