Job Description

This is a full time internship during the semester term (June 2025 to Dec 2025), with possibility of extension. Start dates can be further discussed.

As SimplyGood's Social Commerce Growth Intern will be responsible for executing and optimizing our TikTok Shop marketing strategy, with a primary focus on growing our TikTok presence, driving e-commerce sales, and expanding organic content across other platforms. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, creative, and results-driven individual who is passionate about digital marketing, social media, and sustainability, with a passion to drive growth and revenue. Work Responsibilities

1. TikTok Growth & Content Creation (65%)

  • Develop, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos tailored for TikTok.

  • Publish 3-5 engaging TikTok videos daily, leveraging trends, storytelling, and viral hooks.

  • Implement TikTok SEO strategies by using relevant keywords, hashtags, and trending sounds.

  • Experiment with various content formats (e.g., product demos, testimonials, ASMR, challenges, before-and-after transformations).

  • Analyze video performance and optimize content based on engagement metrics.

  • Repurpose TikTok content for other organic platforms such as Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts to maximize reach and engagement.

2. TikTok Live Sales & Engagement (20%)

  • Schedule and host TikTok Live sessions (3-4 times per week) to drive sales.

  • Engage with audiences in real-time, answer customer queries, and showcase product benefits.

  • Collaborate with TikTok Live Hosts & influencers to boost engagement and visibility.

3. Data Analysis & Performance Optimization (10%)

  • Track and report key performance indicators (video views, engagement rates, conversion rates, sales performance on TikTok Shop).

  • Conduct A/B testing on content styles, ad creatives, and influencer collaborations to improve performance.

  • Optimize TikTok Shop listings, pricing strategies, and promotional offers to maximize conversions.

4. Organic Social Media Expansion (5%)

  • Adapt and cross-post TikTok content to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Explore new content ideas for organic reach on other social media platforms.

  • Assist in growing SimplyGood’s social media presence across multiple digital channels.

  • Education & Background

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in: Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications, E-Commerce, Mass Communications, Journalism, or Advertising, Creative Industries, Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of TikTok trends, content creation, and audience engagement.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or TikTok Editor).

  • Comfortable appearing on camera and creating engaging video content.

  • Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling hooks and captions.

  • Strong analytical mindset to track performance metrics and optimize content strategy.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to experiment with new content formats and marketing strategies.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience managing a personal TikTok account or brand social media account
  • Basic knowledge of TikTok Ads, influencer marketing, and live streaming strategies.
  • Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly consumer products.
