SIMTech – Research Engineer Intern

This project aims to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methodologies to enhance metal additive manufacturing (AM) processes, focusing on materials, processes, and the development of custom hardware solutions. The intern will work with our research group, which specializes in advancing AM technologies for industrial applications. The goal is to explore and implement AI/ML strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve material properties, and develop predictive models for manufacturing outcomes. This project is at the intersection of advanced manufacturing technologies and AI/ML, aiming to push the boundaries of how data-driven approaches can accelerate the adoption and efficiency of AM in various industries.
