Sin Hwa Dee Foodstuffs Industries Pte Ltd – Technician (Production Maintenance)

1. Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for the machinery maintenance and other general maintenance.
2. To work independently and with other employees to perform preventive checklists, predictive and routine maintenance tasks.
3. To troubleshoot issues, machine adjustments, repair failure of production machinery and facilities in accordance to the goals and objective of the company.

The following essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned to you:

Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as cooking equipment, filling auto line 1 and 2, grinding equipment, boiler, chiller equipment and air compressor, etc.

Repair or replace control devices such as switches, sensors, pushbuttons, seals, heater elements, thermocouple, lighting and other equipment and parts as needed.

Responsible for the completion of machine maintenance request(s) as assigned.

Responsible for the maintenance checklist, preventive maintenance or any ither tasks as scheduled and/or assigned.

Assist the Production Executive/Manager to oversee the machine checklists, and set periodical schedule for equipment maintenance.

To liaise and/or coordinate with the contractors’ project or repair work(s) as directed by the Production Designer or Manager.

To assist in the monitoring of all worked performed by contractors, to report ny abnormalities of work and to ensure the contractors follow and comply with the Companys’ GMP.

To ensure that the safety standard, which comply with the CP5 rules (Electrical), are adhered to and practiced at all times.

To ensure compliance of all work repairs with the machines’ manual, work instructions and/or drawings.

To train or instruct worker in the proper way of dismantling overhead piping, running piping and utensils that is in line with the company’s cleaning procedures.

To write detailed reports on the repair works done onto the “Repair Request Form” for documentation purposes.

To maintain inventory control for a cost effective operation.

To ensure and educate workers to properly keep all tools in the toolbox after each use.

To maintain and update spare parts inventory records and to maintain cleanliness and tidiness within the maintenance/technical storeroom at all times.

To establish the machine layout and to list down the machine location(s) with reference numbering.

Responsible for alerting the Operations Director and/or Production Manager of any abnormalities, unusual occurrences and/or damage that had taken place of might occur

To seek approval from the Manager in0charge for purchase of any items required for urgent or emergency purposes.

To participate in work improvements such as housekeeping, safety, machine, health and environmental cleanliness.

To maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all colleagues, to help and cooperate with each other and to handle all situations in a positive manner.

Any other duties and responsibilities worked as assigned by the company.
