Job Description
  • Support the Team Lead to develop, market and project manage design-related events such as forums/workshops/exhibitions/festivals throughout the year
  • Drive business development and revenue generation for events organized, through sales of tickets, exhibition space and sponsorships
  • Plan and manage event budgets
  • Ensure smooth and timely delivery of all projects assigned, and within budget
Qualifications

Education: Degree or Diploma in Business and/or Marketing

Experience: Experience in events and exhibition business development and project management desired. Minimum 3 years’ experience required for the position of “Senior Project Executive”. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a more senior position.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • A passion to drive and promote design
  • Experience in sales and project management of exhibitions, forums and events
  • Experience in preparing and managing budgets and reports
  • Experience in handling government funding applications an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with an attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Ability to handle pressure and perform effectively under tight deadlines
  • Possess initiative, is proactive with a mature disposition, and takes ownership of projects assigned. Able to handle projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Confident, at ease with interacting with stakeholders from all levels, writes and speaks well with good interpersonal skills. Able to draft formal emails and documents
  • Confident and at ease with cold calls to canvass for sales and sponsorships, in kind and cash
  • Must be a team player
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and email proficient
