Established since 1973, Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) envisions representing Singapore logistics with a mission to promote professionalism and excellence of the logistics industry.
As a trade association and strong fraternity advocate, its membership of close to 670 business entities offers a diverse scope of logistics and logistics ancillary support services.
SLA fulfils its objects in close collaboration and engagement with logistics companies, academia, trade associations, business partners, government agencies, international organisations and professionals.
SLA contributes to logistics capability building through its training arm, The Logistics Academy, a registered Private Education Institute that offers quality training and lifelong learning for the logistics workforce.

Manage the meetings of Board of Directors, Academic Board, Examination Board
Manage the TLA Budget
Ensure the training administration are executed in compliance with the internal ISO Procedures and in compliance with PE Act accordingly.
Ensure appropriate pedagogical methods, materials, tools etc are employed by lecturers
Assist to appraise the lecturers' performances
Schedule, plan and manage training programmes within resource contraints intensity of subjects, lecturers, facilities and equipment etc
Contribute to the development of long-term plans for new training initiatives and projects in accordance with the directives set forth by the Association.
Manage the training collaborations with external parties.
Manage the portfolio of SLA as GRT TAC in facilitating the KPI Fulfilment.
Manage the portfolio of SLA as administrator of other government-funded programmes.
Engage to train, develop, motivate and help direct the training needs
Manage the meetings of the Human Development Committee, Training Advisory Committee and other Ad-Hoc Working Groups, as required.
To drive and facilitate the effective implementation of the relevant industry initiatives as directed by the SLA Council.
Implement and comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
Perform any related duties which may be required time to time.
