Currently, SPETA has more than 300 active members comprising of both locally registered SMEs and MNCs engaging in the manufacturing and distribution of precision engineering components, products, tools, equipment and machinery supporting diverse industries from aerospace, automotive, medical to semiconductor. 

Job Description

OVERVIEW

  • 2 Days work from home, Office location in ITE College Central AMK
  • You will be part of the Human Capital team to implement initiatives for our members to improve their ability to attract, develop and retain job seekers, especially fresh graduates from our Institutions of Higher Learning.
  • These initiatives are developed with the support of partners such as ITE, NYP, SP, Enterprise Singapore, Workforce Singapore, the Institute for HR Practitioners etc during your internship period.
  • May have opportunity to travel to countries like Taiwan, China etc

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engaging partners to conceptualise programmes for our members to improve their people practices.
  • Organising workshops/ events to enable our members' HR staff to mutually support each other on best practices.
  • Assisting with grant applications, claims and other administration required by Government Agencies for our members to benefit from their Human Capital programmes.
  • Recruiting members for HR Learning Circles' programme, helping to manage workshop sessions, and coordinating with consultants.
  • Assisting in coordination of bi- monthly council meetings and taking of minutes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Positive attitude, conscientious and responsive
  • Able to multitask with strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with Canva Pro editing is a bonus but not mandatory
