Singapore Red Cross - SRC is a homegrown humanitarian organization dedicated to relieving human sufferings, protecting human lives and dignity, and responding to emergencies since 1949.
We manage various local community programs such as blood donation, food and transport assistance to the needy as well as residential care for the disabled. Our volunteers contribute their time, skills, recourse or even dentate blood to enhance community resilience. We contribute to the international relief and recovery efforts in communities devastated by disasters.

JOB PURPOSE
1. Support the expansion of ElderAid’s digital workshops
2. Explore the enhancement of ElderAid’s outings for seniors
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Operations
Develop a series of digital workshops for seniors
Assist with home visits and outings islandwide whenever necessary
Organise outings for seniors according to their wish list (Point 2.2)
2. Administration
2.1 Research on the SingapoREdiscovers vouchers usage and subsidies available
for seniors
2.2 Conduct survey with all seniors under ElderAid on their outings wish list
3. Other duties
3.1 Assist and support other CRD/SRC programmes/events/activities
3.2 Undertake any other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATION
4. Qualifications
4.1 Singaporeans and PRs only
5. Additional Skills and Knowledge
5.1 Good command of English and Mandarin - the ability to converse in
local dialects would be an added advantage
5.2 Computer literate, especially with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
5.3 Good communication skills (Intern will require to make phone calls to seniors)
6. Desired Behaviour
6.1 Strong administrative skills
6.2 Extroverted, with a positive attitude
6.3 Enjoys engaging with seniors
6.4 Willingness to work on weekends and Public Holidays if required
