JOB PURPOSE: To support the Singapore Red Cross’ (SRC) marcomms efforts and design needs, with a special focus on youth-targeted content marketing.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Creative Services
○ Deliver design jobs for all marcomms needs, from conceptualisation, design creation, to illustration and monitoring production
○ Support other simple design, photo / video-taking needs as assigned
○ Support video editing and production jobs
2. Content Creation
○ Create youth-targeted content for various campaigns promoting SRC’s local services, training courses and special projects, working closely with relevant teams and project owners
○ Produce articles, blogs / vlogs, social media content pieces on humanitarian causes
○ Support the planning, roll-out and reporting of year-end campaigns
○ Assist in the curation of exhibition content for SRC Awards and Volunteer Appreciation Ceremonies
○ Support other content creation for key milestones, festive occasions, and for trendjacking.
3. Other Marcomms Initiatives
○ Join service learning journeys as appropriate to experience SRC’s local services and for a better appreciation of the power of humanity; and document the personal experiences (as listed under content marketing)
○ Any other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
JOB SPECIFICATION
● Knowledge in Design - concept, design, layout
● Knowledge in the use of design softwares including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
● Strong understanding of online and social media, consumer digital content consumption habits, virtual experience
● Interested in humanitarian aid, marketing, new media
● Excellent computer literacy, including the use of Google Apps
● Evidence of good organisational and time management skills
● Able to work with tight design deadlines
● Is self-motivated, resourceful and innovative
● Can-do spirit, willing to learn and take initiatives, and able to work with minimum supervision
● Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people at all levels.
