JOB PURPOSE
MVD’s Recruitment & Profiling function is responsible for volunteer recruitment; as well as the planning and implementation of key profiling activities and initiatives for the deployment, engagement, and development of volunteers.
As of 2019, MVD has begun the ground-up development of a new Volunteer Management System (VMS) to replace its existing software. The Intern will be part of the project team that is responsible for working with the developer to ensure that the final product meets the needs and fulfills the critical requirements of all stakeholders. He or she will be exposed to all facets of volunteering with SRC, including its services and engagement programmes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative tasks relevant to the development of the VMS and its functions/features
- Approval of Volunteer and Youth Membership applications
- Assist with the management of department inventory
- Answering of volunteer-related enquiries
- Any other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of a diploma in any discipline
- Undergraduates preferred
Required experience, skills, and knowledge
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Familiarity with Google Suite an advantage
