The Singapore Reinsurers' Association (SRA) is the trade association representing companies that are licensed to transact reinsurance business in Singapore. Its Ordinary members include local subsidiaries and branches of most of the world's largest reinsurance companies, as well as some direct insurance companies that write a substantial reinsurance portfolio.  In addition, several major reinsurance broking firms as well as some regional reinsurers are Associate members.  

The key objectives of the SRA are:

  • to represent members in matters affecting their business interests;
  • to facilitate dialogue and encourage healthy market competition;
  • to promote professional excellence through education and training;
  • to foster strong social bonds within the industry and beyond; and
  • to advance the reinsurance industry in Singapore and its diverse career opportunities 

In line with the above objectives, the Secretariat organises meetings and various types of education and social activities, including the annual Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC), which attracts over 3,000 attendees from over 50 countries worldwide. 

Job Description

To provide administrative support to the Association's Secretariat in relation to the organisation of the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC), including but not limited to:

  • Following-up on inquiries on the SIRC event relating to registration, booking of partnership and meeting facilities packages and other related matters
  • Liaising and coordinating with third-party organisations, including hotel venue, professional conference organisers, graphic designer, IT vendors, etc in the delivery and execution of their services to the event
  • Generating and collating event reports for the Association’s Executive Committee meetings
  • Preparing and issuing Visa invitation and CPD letters to registered delegates (upon request)
  • Drafting and posting promotional content on the Association’s website and social media channels
  • Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Executive Director

Candidate must be prepared to work longer hours and on-site in the week immediately preceding and during the SIRC event.
