Job Description

Event Coordination:

Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including courses, activities, workshops and celebrations.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure event logistics run smoothly.

Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources.

Administrative Support:

Handle general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.

Maintain accurate records and databases related to events and projects.

Prepare and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and minutes.

Communication:

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and participants to co-ordinate event details.

Respond to inquiries and provide information to event attendees.

Project Management:

Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.

Track project progress and report on key milestones.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in an administrative or event coordination role.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A passion for event planning and coordination.

Note: This is a contract-based position. The duration and specific responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the events team.
