Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated & determined individual to support the execution of a variety of new and existing events at a local and international level. The ideal candidate is energetic, forward thinking, creative and detailed oriented

The position is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a can-do attitude, excellent commercial acumen, strong time management skills and works with enthusiasm across every project.

The Operations Intern will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the best event experience and customer service to all clients and partner with the marketing and sales department to ensure every event is managed professionally and on budget.

  • Adhere to project timelines and prioritise tasks on every project
  • Research suppliers, venues, contractors and negotiate prices for hire
  • Manage some supplier relationships
  • Support the maintaining and development of client relationships
  • Database administration support. Add suppliers and partners.
  • Exhibitor/sponsor contract activation/deliverables support
  • Research new ideas for reducing direct costs
  • Effectively aid management of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure exhibitors fill up all contractor requirement forms
  • Ensure all exhibitors pre-register their allotment of passes for the show

Requirements :

  • Proficient in both Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding telephone and written communication skills.
  • Professional attitude towards 'client' management
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and above all a great sense of humour!
