THE ROLE
We are looking for a kickass lifestyle content intern for a 6-month internship. You have an appetite for learning the ins-and-outs of one of Singapore’s fastest-growing and leading personal finance aggregators. This role reports into the Lifestyle Content Manager.
YOUR TASK
- Participate and pitch in on Editorial meetings
- Brainstorm with our Editors, writers, SEO specialist, social media strategists and creative team on new story ideas / angles
- Attend team meetings with the Content team, and wider Marketing team
- Support the Lifestyle Editorial team with blog article updates
- Research on broad range of personal finance topics and keep an eye on news and trends
- Find creative personal finance angles to report on
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field
- Outstanding command of the English language. Strong writing skills, with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy
- Passion for authentic, relevant, quality, and easy to understand content that will provide valuable insights to our readers.
- A keen interest in personal finance topics and budgeting hacks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly-changing environment
- Creative thinker with strong understanding of Singapore pop culture
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of WordPress would be ideal
