Skillseed – Social Media Storyteller Intern (YCCI)

Brief Description:
This position is responsible for being the in-house digital media designer and storyteller, working across both online and print media to support our marketing and communication efforts. The intern will be engaging Skillseed’s stakeholders by writing articles and content for our targeted audience. The intern will also be transmuting experiences, ideas and concepts into evocative visuals for our audience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Curate and write thought leadership articles and content
2) Work with our Community and Capability Building teams for creative and meaningful visuals
3) Involve in the design and development of online and offline collaterals
4) Co-manage, design and runn campaigns on our social media platforms and track monthly insights
5) Research about various digital media platforms that can be utilised
6) Supporting our business development team to strategize and execute digital marketing efforts

Requirements:
1) Good written and verbal skills in English (submit your past writing samples)
2) Experience in graphic design tools, Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc. (submit your design portfolio)
3) Prior experience in at least one: digital storytelling, creative media production, social media management, content production preferred (kindly include all platforms that you are familiar with in your cover letter)
4) Experience with Google Analytics and/or SEO, Mailchimp and Squarespace is a bonus
