We are looking for an amazingly well-rounded Finance Manager to help quickly grow our business in Singapore! 

Position Duties

Planning:

• Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
• Develop financial and tax strategies.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.

Business Partnering and Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Assists in Annual Budgets and Financial Forecasts.
• Assists in on-going financial monitoring and analysis.
• Assists in fund raising activities and applications of applicable government grants.
• Work alongside internal stakeholders from various departments to provide financial information, tools, analysis and insight to make more informed decisions and driving business strategy.

Financial Reporting:

• Ensure adherence with Financial Policies & Procedures, timely close of the Group’s multi-currency consolidated financial reporting.
• Supervise Quarterly GST reporting.
• Able to liaise independently with Banker, Auditors, Tax agents.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity of the systems across the region, perform data audit regularly.
• Assist in developing and implementing processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Fund Raising:

• Support in fundraising efforts to raise funds from angel investors, venture capitalist and government grants and institutions.

Performance Standards:

• Minimum Degree qualification in Finance / Accounting with CPA/ ACCA /ICAEW membership qualification will be added advantages.
• Minimum 5-7 years of of relevant experience, preferably a mix of audit experience with Big 4 accounting firms and commercial experience with Tech companies/startups.
• Able to manage and coach a lean but effective team of direct reports.
• Strong in financial analysis.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements.
• Accountable and adopts a ‘business-owner’ work mentality.
• Has excellent communication skills and can engage with diverse people.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and scheduling skills.
• Meticulous and excellent project management skills.
