As a pioneer of the search fund model in Asia Pacific, our team is diverse and our activities are many. SMEVentures’ distributed team comprises management, entrepreneurs, analysts, interns, and freelance contractors, some in Singapore and others working remotely around the globe. Together, we support our entrepreneurs through every step of the search fund process, from researching attractive industries to sourcing opportunities to negotiating deals to assembling boards and managing the acquired companies.

SMEVentures is seeking an entrepreneurial, creative, and data-driven hustler to drive our multi-channel marketing efforts.
SMEVentures is a unique accelerator driving a proven entrepreneurial buyout model into Asia Pacific. Unlike most accelerators, SMEVentures doesn’t work with startups. Instead, we partner with search fund entrepreneurs, people looking to acquire and operate existing SMEs in Singapore and Australia.
The search fund model has seen great success in the US since its inception at Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1984, and only recently has the model arrived in Asia Pacific. SMEVentures is leading the charge as the first accelerator of its kind in the region. This role therefore represents an exciting opportunity to make an impact at the very frontier of this innovative model.
As Content Marketing Intern, you will own our external communications and lead a massive effort to educate and inspire our target audience.
What you’ll do:
Work directly with the Managing Director to create and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy
Manage the content production calendar, combining creative ideation with structured execution
Source and tell captivating stories to inspire our audience through our website, blog, social media channels, and email marketing efforts
Fill an event calendar with speaking engagements for our Managing Director
Seek regular opportunities to collaborate with journalists, bloggers, and academics
Grow and engage a follower base
Set and track KPIs, reporting regularly to the team
