The Job
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Develop concepts for characters, scenes, backgrounds, and other animation elements as well as storyboard.
- Develop timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements.
- Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in a visual form.
- Continues to research industry trends and developments and learn new applications.
- Collaborating with other creatives including designers and producers to finalize projects.
- Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure proper output delivery.
- Ensuring that the final product meets the needs of the client and is delivered on time and within budget.
- He or she will read scripts, work with the art director to understand project requirements and create storyboards and animations.
Ideal Candidate
Skills Required:
- The 2D/3D Animator must be disciplined and artistic, as well as have a firm grasp of animation techniques, fundamentals, and software.
- He or she should be cooperative and reliable.
- The ideal candidate must be adaptable, and creative, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be open to fresh concepts to provide the best service to our clients.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Film/Visual Communications/Multimedia Design/Mass Comm or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years in the creative/media industry – candidates are required to send in their portfolio for reference
- Passionate about social media and online content, ability to identify trends.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Cloud or similar, most importantly but not exclusively – Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop.
- Excellent knowledge of audio balancing and color grading, sequencing of clips, and exporting in a variety of formats.
- Impeccable sense of story-telling, timing, and tone is a plus.
- Good written and verbal English communication skill in order to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
