The Job

Position Overview:

The AEM Asset Testing Specialist will be responsible for testing and validating digital assets within the AEM platform to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of AEM, and experience in digital asset management and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Testing: Conduct thorough testing of digital assets within the AEM platform, including images, videos, documents, and other media types, to ensure they meet quality and functional standards.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content creation, development, and design teams to understand asset requirements and provide feedback on asset quality and functionality.
• Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, issues, and resolutions. Provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
• Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in digital asset management and AEM testing. Recommend and implement improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to digital assets within the AEM platform.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on AEM asset management and testing best practices.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in AEM or quality assurance are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in AEM asset management and testing. Experience in quality assurance and digital asset management is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including asset management and workflows. Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages is preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
