Digital Twin for Airport Tower Control
The Mixed Reality (MR) Digital Twin software system is a pioneering solution designed to enhance airport tower management by providing air traffic controllers with an intuitive, collaborative, and portable tool that significantly improves situational awareness and decision-making. Addressing critical issues like airport congestion, escalating cognitive loads, and the limitations of traditional ATC systems, this technology reduces reliance on verbal communication and allows for remote collaboration and advanced training.
Compared to traditional control towers and Remote Digital Towers (RDTs), the MR system offers superior flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and safety. With a current TRL of 4, the technology is supported by a robust IP portfolio and a prototype validated through extensive testing with licensed air traffic controllers. The technology aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and targets a growing market that includes innovations in air traffic control, valued at USD 8.6 billion in 2023.
CEO & Co-founder Requirements
You are an excellent big-picture thinker who is deliberate and does not get impatient dealing with details, as you believe the devil is in the details. You are also practical and hands-on as you drive the team towards growth, leveraging your extensive network and resources to bring new solutions to market.
Ideally, you would be a domain expert in the aerospace industry with at least 10 years of work experience and your last role in a management capacity. Bonus points if you have had both corporate and startup experiences.

- Be acquainted with sound corporate governance structures.
- Conduct market research and analyse trends and data to make well-informed business decisions.
- Take an active role in product development, making both high-level and minute decisions before you go to market.
- Successfully promote your products before they go to market, build anticipation and create demand.
- Excel at recruiting, hiring and retaining talented and dedicated staff members who can help bring the founding team’s vision to life.
- Have a solid grasp of financial planning and forecasting, and should be able to set milestones and budgets to ensure solvency and long-term growth.

Ideal Candidate
- Leadership experience in relevant domains: aerospace, airport operations, airport tower control or related domains.
- Entrepreneurial experience with early-stage ventures.
- Familiarity with navigating regulatory and grant funding pathways.
- Track record in market validation, B2B customer acquisition, and scaling testing solutions.
- Experience in developing a go-to-market strategy and partnerships with aerospace stakeholders.
- Experience in fundraising and financial management.
