The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Manage all aspects of the piano center's operations, including staffing, scheduling, customer service, and facility management.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of piano instructors, administrative staff, and support personnel.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the registration process for piano lessons, classes, and events, and handle billing, payments, and financial transactions with customers.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promote teamwork among staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the piano center, attract new students, and retain existing customers.
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising methods.
  • Represent the piano center at community events, concerts, and fairs to enhance visibility and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with piano instructors to develop and update curriculum materials for different levels and styles of piano instruction.
  • Ensure that teaching methods and materials align with industry standards and student needs.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for the piano center, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Organize and oversee recitals, concerts, competitions, and other events hosted by the piano center, including venue booking, scheduling, promotion, and staffing.
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the piano center's programs and services.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a music education or arts-related setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management systems (e.g., CRM software).
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Passion for music education and commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate the center's schedule and events.
