The Job

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Support users in local site office or warehouse area on-site and two sites remotely.
  • Submit ticket through SysAid.
  • Ticket resolving when user creates ticket.
  • Answer phone calls of user and resolve the issue.
  • Solve computer hardware, software and a simple network issue as first layer support.
  • Solve other IT related issues and/or communicate with GIS team for server, storage, network, cloud service and phone – these are zero or minimized task.
  • Acting as a “1st layer” IT support of global or internal users.
  • Provide training to users on computer utilization.
  • Escalating technical issues to the relevant parties when needed and following up till the issues are closed.
  • Ensuring all standards and procedures are followed and maintained.
  • Answering queries and resolving issue relating to usage of standard applications and IT services.
  • Providing monthly help desk reports.

Work Location:

  • Primary: GDC (34 Penjuru Lane), 157 users & 131 PCs: Two or three days per week on-site support
  • Secondary: Techpoint (10 Ang Mo Kio Street 65), 54 users & 70 PCs: Zero or one day per week on-site support

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Graduated from a university or junior college of technology with at least 2 years certified equivalent work experience.
  • Industry recognized IT certification or strong knowledge in PC would be an advantage.
  • Windows XP/7/10/11 OS, MS office, Active Directory, printers, SCCM (ConfigMgr), Coretex, SharePoint, VPN and network cabling background is helpful.
  • A team player with customer-oriented attitude, interpersonal skills and works well in a multicultural workplace.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
