The Job

As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the CFO in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. As one of our early hires, you will be working with a small team of highly experienced professionals and will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of the company.

Your Responsibilities will include: 

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist in the management of payroll and employee benefits
• Help to develop financial models and perform ad-hoc financial analysis
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other compliance filings
• Support the annual audit process
• Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Fluent in Mandarin and English in order to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
